Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Port66 collects when you browse, list, buy, sell, swap, or register an item, and how that information is used. It applies to the marketplace, the Global Grail Registry, and Port66 Exchange.

Account information: name, email, and profile details if you sign in with email, or your public wallet address if you sign in with a crypto wallet.

Transaction information: listings, offers, messages, orders, payment method (card or crypto), and shipping details needed to complete a sale or swap.

On-chain information: when you register a passport or complete a swap, a fingerprint, ownership record, and transaction hash are written to the Base blockchain. On-chain data is public by design and is not something Port66 can delete on your behalf.

Device and usage information: pages viewed, search queries, and general device/browser data, collected automatically to keep the marketplace working and to improve it.

To operate the marketplace, Registry, and Exchange — creating listings, processing payments, anchoring passports, and matching swap proposals.

To keep the platform safe — fraud prevention, authentication review, and enforcing the rate limits that protect against spam.

To communicate with you about orders, proposals, and account activity, and to improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe (card payments) and on-chain infrastructure providers (crypto payments and Base transactions). Email accounts are managed by Clerk. We share only what each provider needs to do its job.

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be disclosed if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Port66 and its users.

Once an item is anchored on Base or a swap is completed on-chain, the resulting record — fingerprint, wallet addresses involved, and transaction hash — is publicly visible on the blockchain to anyone, independent of this policy.

Account and transaction data is retained for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

On-chain records (Registry passports, Exchange settlements) are immutable by design and persist independently of your Port66 account.

You can review and update your account information at any time from Settings. You may request deletion of your off-chain account data by contacting support — on-chain data cannot be altered or removed once written.

You can disconnect a wallet or sign out at any time; this does not affect items already anchored to that wallet address.
